Cornelia Cone is a native of South Africa. She holds BA and Honors degrees in Political Analysis and Communications cum laude as well as a Master’s Degree of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Pretoria. She also received the Politika Award for best student in Political Science.
In 2004, Cornelia immigrated to the United States to support her husband through dental school and residency training while working in Finance and Executive Search in Boston. With a love for New England, she moved her family to Portland, Maine in 2015. Over the next few years Cornelia made a dramatic shift in her career path and co-founded Nuance Dental Specialists, an exclusive Prosthodontic start-up practice, and Depth Of Field, an educational company teaching hands-on courses in dental photography with her husband.
Utilizing her past research experience, Cornelia has made the seamless transition to the peer-review process in the dental field with her pioneering articles on smartphone dental photography. Outside of her role as a published author, small-business owner, and international speaker, Cornelia can be found raising her four children.
